Technical Project Manager
Mangan Incorporated hires “working PM’s” who possess technical expertise as well as Project Management experience in the refinery/petrochemical, pipeline or biopharm industry. Duties include management of scope, schedule, and contract costs. The Project Manager also provides the direct guidance to project teams to accomplish the scope of work and achieve the prescribed project goals, scheduled milestones and cost objectives.
Control System Engineers
Control System Engineers from recent graduates through to highly experienced individuals with strong DCS and PLC skills are often sought. Major software/hardware vendors utilized include Honeywell, Allen Bradley, Emerson, Siemens, Triconex, ABB, GE and many others.
Analyzer Engineers
Highly qualified Analyzer Engineers familiar with various Analyzers and CEMS systems commonly used in the refinery / petrochemical industry are often needed. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of five years experience and be a graduate engineer in one of the following disciplines: Process, Electrical, Chemical or Control Systems.
Senior Electrical Designers
Mangan is always seeking qualified senior electrical designers with experience specific to the design and layout of electrical distribution systems for heavy industrial, refining, pipeline or similar facilities. Specific knowledge of the NEC and the ability to use the code to properly size and layout distribution equipment and devices is a must. A successful senior designer has a working and detailed knowledge of motors, MCC’s, transformers and circuit panels ranging from 24 VDC through 5kV. A qualified candidate must also have an understanding of short circuit requirements as well as be able to perform short circuit estimates, voltage drop calculations, conductor de-rating and connected load calculations.
Senior Instrument Designer
We will always welcome a resume for good senior instrument designers with experience specific to the design and layout of instrument and control systems. Specific knowledge of facility I&C standards and vendor equipment is highly desirable. The candidate must be able to develop simple and complex loop diagrams, instrument indexes, and wiring/connection diagrams. He/she must have the ability to properly design DCS and PLC installations, including control room layouts, networking systems, I/O Marshalling and Terminal Cabinets, power supplies, interposing relays, transducers and other instrument and control hardware and installations. A good understanding of process and logic control theory, loop and logic functionality as well as know how to design, install, test, and commission control system loops and circuits is mandatory in this position. The ideal senior instrument designer is very comfortable working in the field with both contractor and client staff.
