Technical Project Manager
We are seeking “working PM’s” who possess technical expertise as well as Project Management experience in the refinery/petrochemical industry. The Project Manager is solely responsible for the successful completion of the project, including the quality of the work and the deliverables produced during the execution of the project. It is the Project Manager’s duty to ensure that the project is within the approved scope, schedule, and contract costs, and is consistent with the quality guidelines set forth by management. The Project Manager provides the direct guidance to the Project Team in order to accomplish the scope of work and achieve the prescribed project goals, schedule milestones and cost objectives.
Control System Engineers
We are seeking Control System Engineers with 5+ years of experience that includes strong DCS skills, preferably in the refinery / petrochemical industry. Honeywell Experion a plus.
Analyzer Engineers
We are seeking Analyzer Engineers who are familiar with various Analyzers and CEMS systems commonly used in the refinery / petrochemical industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years experience and be a graduate engineer in one of the following disciplines: Process, Electrical or Control Systems.
Senior Electrical Designer
The successful candidate for this position will have 8 to 10+ years experience with the design and layout of electrical distributions systems for heavy industrial, refining, pipeline or similar facilities.
- Requires specific knowledge of the NEC and the ability to use the code to properly size and layout distribution equipment and devices.
- Ability to properly size motor feeders, motor starters, feeder breakers, MCC, transformers, size and circuit panels. (120 volts through 5kV).
- Ability to detail motor connections, equipment control stations, layout distribution equipment and develop conduit routing in existing facilities.
- Must have field experience in the petroleum refinery environment and be familiar with the use and care of personal safety equipment.
- Ability to interface with client and direct junior staff and CAD resource.
- Understand short circuit requirements, know how to estimate short circuit, can perform voltage drop calculations, conductor de-rating, connected load calculations.
- Ability to outline the electrical requirements necessary for an electrical construction package and estimate design hours required to complete.
- Estimate construction and installation cost.
Senior Instrument Designer
The successful candidate for this position will have 8 to 10+ years experience with the design and layouts of instrument and control systems with the following requirements:
- Requires specific knowledge of facility I&C standards and vendor equipment.
- Ability to develop simple and complex loop diagrams, instrument indexes, and wiring/connection diagrams.
- Ability to specify most control system instruments and develop construction scope for client specifications.
- Ability to properly design DCS and PLC installations, including control room layouts, networking systems, I/O Marshalling and Terminal Cabinets, power supplies, interposing relays, transducers and other instrument and control hardware and installations.
- Ability to detail electronic and pneumatic instrument installations and develop conduit routing in existing facilities.
- Ability to interface with client and direct junior staff and CAD resource.
- Understand process and logic control theory, loop and logic functionality; know how to design, install, test, and commission control system loops and circuits.
- Experience with loop walkdowns, control room verifications, factory acceptance tests and field start-ups
- Ability to outline the I&C requirements necessary for an instrument/control construction package and estimate design hours required to complete.
- Estimate construction and installation cost.
Senior, Mid and Entry Level Commissioning and Validation Engineers
We are seeking Senior, Mid and Entry Level Commissioning and Validation Engineers in our Denver/Boulder, Colorado office. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry with commissioning and qualification in the areas of: plant and clean utilities, pharmaceutical and biotechnology process equipment, SCADA/PLC and DCS control system qualification, cleaning validation, SIP validation, aseptic processing and process validation is highly desired.
Entry and Mid Level Controls Engineers
We are seeking Mid Level Control Engineers in our Denver/Boulder, Colorado office to support the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
Experience programming PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems is required. The Controls Engineer will perform development, installation, and commissioning of control systems in accordance with the needs of the client and all applicable regulations and safety guidelines, develop project specifications and supporting project documentation, develop hardware and software solutions used to provide control logic and user interface deliverables in accordance with project specifications, develop, schedule, and execute commissioning testing with timely resolution of deviations and changes that occur during commissioning.
