9/26/06 Bay Area Biotech Company Selects Mangan to Integrate
UF/DF Systems into Existing Environment
A large Bay Area Biotech and Pharmaceutical facility has awarded Mangan a contract to integrate vendor provided purification and fermentation UF skids into their existing DCS environment. Engineering, procurement, construction and validation services will ensure that the local operation of each UF skid is as specified while each can be monitored and historized utilizing the existing plant wide DCS systems. |

9/5/06 Refinery Compressor Relay Logic Replacement Project
A Northeast Refinery has awarded the replacement of a Compressor Control System to Mangan. The project will replace the current pneumatic and electro-mechanical relay based controls with speed and anti-surge control and safety interlocks integrated into a PLC based compressor control system.

8/15/06 Mangan Receives CSIA Certification on First Attempt
The nationally recognized independent systems integrator association, Control Systems Integrator Association (CSIA), has inspected and passed Mangan as a Certified Systems Integrator on the first attempt. The certification demonstrates advanced and systematic company performance in seven areas: General Management; Human Resources; Project Management; Quality Management; Financial Management; Business Development; and Technical Management. Mangan has been a member of CSIA for years now, and with this certification is among the largest certified independent systems integrations in the country.

7/29/06 Biotech Plant Operating Systems Upgrade Project Is Awarded to Mangan
Mangan has been selected to provide expert services in the upgrade of twenty SCADA systems from obsolete operating systems to current technology. This project will mitigate major risks associated with outdated operating systems, HMI software, SQL Databases and obsolete hardware. Additional services are provided to assist in the project management of multiple contractors to ensure total success in scope, schedule and budget.

7/27/06 Refinery PLC Modernization Project
A West Coast Refinery has awarded the first phase of a Refinery Wide PLC Modernization Project to Mangan. This project will: develop standards for classifying, integrating and designing refinery interlock and safety systems; inventory and classify all refinery logic systems; and design, install and cutover new control systems, either PLC, TMR, DCS or a blend of the three.

7/12/06 Flare Sulfur Analyzer System
Following a successful Pilot Project for Flare Sulfur Emissions On-Line Monitoring Technologies, developed, engineered and integrated by a Client/Mangan Team, Mangan has been awarded the Refinery Wide Implementation Program for the 4 Refinery Flares. This leading edge technology will enable the refinery to comply with newly adopted flare sulfur emissions regulations. The system will be an extension of the Refinery CEMS Systems designed and commissioned by Mangan in 1995.

6/20/06 Refinery CEMS Awards
A West Coast Refinery has awarded Mangan the project to design, fabricate, install, commission and certify 2 new Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems. The certification will include an extended warranty/maintenance program, as well as operator ad maintenance training and qualification for the eventual transition of responsibility.

5/11/06 Turbine & Compressor Control Panel Upgrade Awarded
AA Major Texas Chemical Plant has awarded Mangan the work to replace and modernize a Gas Turbine and Compressor Control System. The work will include engineering, integration, testing, training and commissioning, and was awarded on a sole source and turnkey basis.

5/6/06 Southwest Biotech Company Selects Mangan
to Assist in Cleaning Systems Remediation
A southwestern biotech firm has awarded Mangan a project to review, modify and qualify existing CIP, COP, and Labwasher cleaning systems operation for a clinical manufacturing facility. When engineering, integration and qualification is completed, these systems currently requiring sampling and constant monitoring by operators will perform unattended processing predictably, repeatedly and quality regardless of the product being cleaned.

4/12/06 Central States Refinery Awards Burner
Management System Upgrade
The engineering, procurement and construction required for the replacement of a Refinery Furnace Burner Management System has been awarded sole source to Mangan. The work will install a triple redundant logic controller with complete local panel control and display as the basis for the safety system, as well as central control room control and display.

3/4/06 International Biotech Company Hires Mangan to Commission
and Validate Mission Critical Process Equipment
Mangan has been awarded a project to qualify two UF/DF skids, two chromatography skids, multiple tanks and associated peripheral equipment for a mission critical process at an international biotech firms western location. With schedule and quality as primary drivers, over eighty documents are generated and utilized to commission and validate this mission critical process equipment in less than four months.

3/1/06 Products Pipeline Delivery Station Automation
A National Products Pipeline Operator has awarded Mangan the project to automate a major Southeast Delivery Station. Utilizing standardized automation hardware, software, design and O&M procedures developed by a blended Client/Mangan Team as a part of a System Wide Automation Program, this delivery station is planned to be completely automated from start to finish in 6 months.
