Oil and Gas Facilities Automation Projects
Scope: Mangan Inc. provided all necessary services for the replacement of a combination of pneumatic controllers, Ronan panels and legacy PLCs (72 different manufacturers, models or versions) with a new Siemens PCS7 hybrid control system. This project included five oil and gas production facilities (four offshore and one onshore) and involved the design, installation and hot cutover of approximately 25,000 loops. Mangan Inc. successfully completed this lump sum EPC project in 2004 on schedule and budget, with less than 2% change orders.
